Plastic Injection Molding
With years of experience handling diverse raw materials and state-of-the-art technology, we provide comprehensive services that encompass everything from initial design to final production. We work with standard materials like ABS and polypropylene, as well as engineering-grade materials such as Ryton and Ultem. If you have a custom material requirement, we will do our best to source it and provide a competitive quote.
Our Capabilities Include:
- Conventional molding with a wide range of horizontal presses from 55 to 1460 tons
- Insert molding using three vertical rotary presses ranging from 120 to 220 tons
- Robotics and automation for a portion of our presses
Durability: Injection molding allows for the use of high-performance engineering-grade plastics that can withstand extreme conditions, providing durability and strength necessary for military equipment.
Complex Designs: Injection molding allows for the creation of intricate and complex designs with high precision, which might be difficult to achieve with other manufacturing methods.
Material Versatility: The process supports a wide range of materials, including advanced composites and high-performance thermoplastics that offer specific properties like heat resistance, impact resistance, and electrical insulation.
Consistency and Repeatability: The process ensures high consistency and repeatability, producing identical parts within tight tolerances, which is crucial for quality control in large-scale production.
Weight Reduction: Injection-molded plastic parts can be significantly lighter than their metal counterparts, reducing the overall weight of equipment and enhancing mobility for military personnel.
